Liverpool’s Skupski brothers win Australian Open first round

Liverpool brothers Neal and Ken Skupski eased into the second round of the Australian Open overnight with a 6-3 6-2 win against unseeded duo Hubert Hurkacz and Felix Auger Aliassme. The brothers, who have rekindled their partnership in Melbourne, took command of the first set by winning Hurkacz and Aliassme's second service game.

Wimbledon 2020 cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic

Wimbledon has been cancelled for the first time since World War Two due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The announcement means there will now be no professional tennis anywhere in the world until at least July 13th, with the entire grass-court season now abandoned.
