This Saturday’s Six Nations fixture between France and Ireland has now been postponed due to concerns of a possible coronavirus outbreak. This decision is made following the cancellation of the Ireland v Italy and Italy v England matches, with the virus scare growing rapidly.
As things stand, England are top of the table and have the same amount of points as France, who failed to beat Scotland the past Sunday.
Wales’ match against Scotland is so far still going ahead on Saturday 14th of March.
The Women’s Six Nations has suspended the match between Wales and Scotland, after a player from the Scots team has tested positive for the virus. A further seven members of the squad are currently in self isolation.
The Six Nations website released a statement addressing the fixture changes in which they said: “Six Nations and its constituent Unions and federations will work closely to identify dates on which all postponed matches will take place.”
