Bootle FC will be looking to continue their good form when they face Colne on Saturday.
They are coming off a comfortable 3-0 win over Prescot Cables with goals from Matty Hamilton, Tom Peterson and Michael Carberry.
After a dull first half in which nothing could separate both sides, Bootle returned to the field in the second period looking like a completely different team.
For a game that ended 3-0 it could have been a lot worse for the travelling Prescot Cables side after a scintillating second half performance from the hosts.
A barrage of threatening counter attacks and build-up play disrupted the Cables defence who could not seem to get the ball out of danger.
Bootle have set themselves up well for this Colne clash.
Bootle currently sit one place below Colne in 10th, and will be looking to leapfrog the Lancashire based side in the league table.
With an impressive set of results backing them, Bootle should be confident they can do so.
In their last three games, Bootle have scored an impressive 13 goals while conceding none.
Although they are in impressive form, Colne should, by no means, be a walk in the park.
The Lancashire side are unbeaten in their last three games, overcoming Northwich, Prescot Cables and Glossop North End.
Colne have a game in hand over Clitheroe who are currently placed just one spot above them.
Just like their visitors on Saturday, Colne will also be looking to climb up the table by picking up the three points.
Bootle’s trip to Colne will kick off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
