Nathan Fletcher says the past 12 months have been the most mentally challenging of his MMA career.
The 24-year-old was supposed to fight Cameron Else on November 4, but Fletcher exclusively revealed to Merseysport Live that Else had pulled out of the bout.
This, combined with another late opponent drop-out, and a major leg injury, has meant that The Southport Strangler hasn’t fought since September 2021. That fight was against Dominique Wooding for the vacant Cage Warriors Bantamweight title.
He said he’s now looking forward to a much better 12 months, another shot at the title, and eventually getting to the UFC.
