Cheshire Phoenix are looking to continue their winning ways this Sunday as they host struggling Newcastle Eagles.
Following a close 78-74 victory against Manchester Giants, the Nix will be looking to extend their run and improve on their 11-11 win/loss record.
Shooting Guard Larry Austin is coming off a 19-point game against the Giants and is averaging 14.9 points per game so far this season.
The American signed from Canterbury Rams in New Zealand last year and has proven to be a key shooting option for the Nix.
Tahj Teague at Power-Forward also boasted a stand-out game with 20 points and nine rebounds.
The 25-year-old American signed this season from Portuguese side Illabum Cube and is averaging 12.4 points per game and 53% field goal percentage.
With experienced Point Guard Lloyd Daniels out through injury, Cheshire have added young starlet Amorie Archibald from the Lousiana Tech Bulldogs to the roster this week.

It is likely the 23-year-old from Deltona, Florida, could be included in this weekend’s game.
Currently ranked 4th in the BBL division, a win for Cheshire Phoenix would put them in touching distance of 3rd place Leicester Riders.
Despite a 84-70 win against Sheffield Sharks in their last league game, Newcastle Eagles have started the season on the backfoot.
Sitting 9th in the division with six wins and 13 losses, The Nix will look to capitalise on Eagles’ poor form.
Javion Hamlet is Eagles’ most prominent threat. The Point Guard is averaging 21.4 points per game, the highest average in the league.
The last time the two played in October, Cheshire Phoenix won 80-77 in what was a close affair.
They will be hoping history repeats itself at the Ellesmere Port Sports Village this Sunday.
