Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on “real talent” Jarell Quansah ahead of their Bournemouth clash.
Klopp applauded Quansah’s recent performances as centre back after the 20-year-old helped Liverpool achieve consecutive away clean sheets against Burnley and Arsenal.
Liverpool face Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium in the Premier League on Sunday and Quansah could be key in ensuring Liverpool achieve another clean sheet away from Anfield.
The Liverpool manager told Merseysportlive: “Jarell has played an absolutely outstanding preseason.
“Jarell is one of these players where people already knew he was a real talent.
“He’s played only really good games when he came on against Newcastle he was outstanding in a really difficult game and from that moment its all fine its really good.”
The Cherries sit 12th in the league and are in good form having won seven of their last 10 premier league games.
On the other hand, The Reds can go five points clear of rivals Manchester City with victory.
The fixture between the two sides favours Liverpool who have defeated The Cherries in the past eight out of nine league meetings.
Despite this, Klopp was full of respect for Bournemouth and heaped praise on former Liverpool striker and now Bournemouth ace Dominick Solanke.
Solanke has been in fine form this season scoring 12 league goals and providing one assist.
Klopp said: “They have a really good mix they use Dom Solanke in a exceptional way the support he gets from the centre from the wings the way they defend is really good, really compact so that’s proper it will be a difficult game definitely.”
