Former IBO super welterweight world champion James Metcalf returns to his home city tonight after a year out of the ring.
After splitting from promotion stable Matchroom, the 36 year old is looking to finish his career in a positive manner, and features on card packed with Liverpool fighters at the M&S Exhibition Centre.

The main event puts the vacant IBO featherweight world title on the line between Cuban Dayan Gonzalez and Thai fighter, Wira Mikham.
The winner would put them in the sights of Liverpool’s own featherweight world champion, Nick Ball who will be keeping a close eye on tonight’s proceedings.
