Liverpool women will travel to Manchester for their Women’s Super League fixture against 4th place Man City.
The reds defeated West Ham in their last WSL match thanks to a crucial goal from Leanne Kiernan.
Prior to that match Liverpool were the only team this season to not have a clean sheet.
Liverpool manager Matt Beard said: “I think if I look at a lot of our play lately we’ve had some good moments- we just need to continue that.”
Olivia Smith is suspended from this match due to the number of yellow cards she has accumulated.
“I think most of her cards have been out of frustration where she’s not been protected” Beard said.

Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw, current top goal scorer, scored a brace the last time these sides met.
Beard said: “She’s world class, powerful, and knows where the goal is.
“I think you need to have a defender up against her that knows when to get tight and when to drop off.
“This is a kind of game you want to thrive in and test your defenders up against the best.”
The Liverpool manager is hopeful that his side can challenge the blues on Sunday the 16th of February.
He said: “Over time they’ve been close games really.
“We’ve got Leanne Kiernan scoring goals, we’ve got Sophie Roman Haug back, Mia Enderby got on the score sheet at the weekend and Marie Hobinger too.”
Mary Fowler has been a key element to the City attack this season, scoring six goals in twelve matches.
When asked about the attacking threat form Shaw and Fowler, Matt Beard said: “If I just concentrated on one player we’d be foolish because they have so many good players.
“We need to make sure we’ve got a game plan that unsettles them and provides us with good opportunities and see where that takes us.”
The red’s manager sets his targets for 5th place: “The top four have broken away.
“Our ambition now is for 5th or 6th and if we can go on a run like we did last year with wining matches then we give ourselves a good chance of doing it.”
Kickoff for the game will be at 18:45 on Sunday at the Manchester City Joie Stadium.
