Un-Limited Motorsport’s Max Hall topped the times on day one of the official British Touring Car Championship testing at Croft Circuit.

The 17-year-old is entering his rookie season on the grid and is seemingly picking up where he left off in the Mini Challenge Championship.

In 2024, he was the Mini Challenge JCW Rookie Champion and finished second overall in the driver standings.

Hall is eager for his first BTCC season to begin and is setting his sights high.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to finally get out there.

“We’ve had a few good test days the past few days, and I’m just really looking forward to it.

“We want to try and push for the independent championship, but we are just going to have to see what happens.”

Hall is racing alongside Dexter Patterson and Nic Hamilton for Un-Limited Motorsport.

Nic Hamilton is making his return to racing to the BTCC after 20 months away.

Hamilton’s 2023 season saw him secure his highest-ever finish of sixth place at Donington Park.

In announcing his return, Hamilton said: “I want to continue to prove that motorsport is for everyone and that racing can be a platform for opportunity and inclusivity.

“Un-Limited Motorsport and my partners believe in what I stand for, my talent, and my purpose. If I can be accepted, then so can others with a disability.”

Dexter Patterson is also returning to the BTCC grid after a one-year gap to race in GT4.

Day two of official testing is taking place today at Croft Circuit.
