Everton manager Marco Silva has reportedly been told that he has three matches to save his job.

The Portuguese boss has had a poor start to the season, losing five of the first eight games, leaving them in the relegation zone on goal difference. The Toffees have lost four consecutive matches leading into the international break, with their last Premier League victory being at the start of September.

Everton face West Ham and Brighton once the Premier League resumes after the international break. Silva and the supporters will be hoping for positive results to get out of the rut they are currently in.

Silva comes up against his former club Watford in the third game. Although, he could face the sack before that if the poor form continues.

Everton already have a sour relationship with the north London side after their persistent pursuit of the Portuguese manager when he was still managing the Hornets. In a turn of events, Watford fans would possibly feel a sense of justice if they were the ones to sack the 42-year-old.

A victory against West Ham at Goodison Park would be an encouraging start for the Toffees and Marco Silva in this tough period.
