According to reports on Sunday, Everton have sent scouts to Brazil in the search for new talents.
It is believed that the Toffees director of football Marcel Brands, has sent his recruitment team out to Brazil to keep tabs on the highly-coveted Flamengo forward, Reinier Jesus Carvalho.
The 17-year-old has enjoyed a productive start to his career, producing two goals and an assist in five games.
Everton have reportedly been after the young South American since the summer transfer window. Some reports in Brazil have suggested that they had already agreed a £36.7 million fee for Reinier to join in January.
The Blues will have to wait until Reinier turns 18 for him to join up with the team. But teams will be lining up to secure the teenagers signature.
