Southport’s Tommy Fleetwood has so far produced the most unique second round at TPC Sawgrass in Florida on Friday (March 10).
Play was suspended as weather conditions and forecasts have been deemed unsafe to continue.
Fleetwood started his second round superbly, scoring an eagle three on the par five second moving to two under par.

It was short-lived however as Fleetwood scored four bogeys and one double-bogey on his next five holes.
Fleetwood moved to four over par and it was at this point fears started to creep in that he may miss the cut.
Just like his opening round yesterday, Fleetwood battled back scoring four birdies on his next six holes.

The Englishman finished play for the day on the 13th hole with five holes left to play.
Fleetwood was tied 39th at level par, eight shots behind South African Christiaan Bezuidenhout who currently leads the tournament.
Fleetwood will most likely resume and finish his second round first thing tomorrow local time.
