Volunteers, coaches and managers will be celebrated this weekend as amateur football marks Non-League Day.
James Doe created a social experiment in 2010 that has now created a country wide acknowledgement to all that get involved in non-league clubs. This is now backed by the Premier League, Football League and others like MPs and celebrities.
These volunteers allow players all around the country to grow as individuals and give a space to play football. With their hard work and determination many players have developed as footballers and individuals from being involved in the game.
