Two cracks of the whip for me this week as I stand in for Sheldon, as he is away. Toby’s each way tip landed yesterday at a whopping 12/1, solidifying his place as MSL’s top tipster. The quest for winners continues this Friday with a plenty of cards across the country.
We have seven races for Warwick today in the feature card of the afternoon, as well as two six-race-cards from Hexham in the north and Fontwell in the south.
Second in the Supreme Novice Hurdle, Olly Murphy’s Thomas Darby starts his Novice Chasing campaign today at his local track. Champion Jockey Richard Johnson will be aboard the six-year-old who appears to be a strong odds-on shot in the market.
Heavy ground is expected at Hexham where Trainer Charlie Longsdon and Jockey Tom Buckley team up on No Trumps, for owner Her Majesty the Queen.
Sky Sports Racing will be broadcasting both Hexham and Fontwell. The 14:35 from the southern track looks a interesting one, Mason Jar heads the market for Dr Newland and Sam Twiston-Davies but Trainers Tom George, Jeremy Scott and Oliver Sherwood all have players in this race.
Flat Racing today comes from Newcastle, also on sky sports racing, Dundalk and Chelmsford. With the Flat season ending this weekend 22 races on the Flat offer last pieces of entertainment for die-hard flat fans.

A real stayer this horse has won twice over three miles before in handicap chases. For a stayer he has a real turn of foot in the closing stages. Tom Buckley claims 3lbs giving the six-year-old a slight advantage in this small field chase.
NB – Sensulano, 14:00 @ Fontwell
The mount of Leighton Aspell who has several good-looking rides on the day. Probably should’ve won last time in bis maiden race over fences but hung right off the last flight. Should go well here today on the soft ground.
Each Way – Star of Rory, 14:25 @ Warwick
Won over course and distance here in March, a bit of a Warwick specialist also finishing second in a novice hurdle in January. Should go well have every chance off a handy mark.
