Arne Slot’s Liverpool face some of the toughest challenges so far this season with games against Real Madrid and Manchester City up next month.

It has been a superb start to the season for Liverpool’s manager, winning 11 of their first 12 games. This has never been done by a manager in the club’s history.

Whilst many continue to doubt that they will be able to reach the levels of Man City and Arsenal come the end of the season, it is hard to see many negatives in their season so far.

There haven’t been many players that have disappointed fans this season but here is a look at five noticeable names that Liverpool will want to keep fit over the next few weeks.

Mohamed Salah

It is impossible to leave the Egyptian out. He has five goals and five assists in the league so far this season in just eight appearances and his threat upfront when he is not scoring goals is ever present.

Ryan Gravenberch

The Dutchman is arguably the biggest surprise from the Liverpool camp this season. He has been a revelation under this new look Slot team and has stats up there with the best in the league this season.

 Luis Diaz

He may have appeared from the bench in the last few games, but the Columbian is always one of The Reds’ most exciting and dangerous players when he is on the pitch. The winger ties Salah with five league goals this season whilst completing 11 dribbles too.

Virgil Van Dijk

The Liverpool skipper alongside Ibrahima Konate have been the main reason as to why Slot’s team have only conceded three league goals. A consistent defender and a leader that Liverpool will definitely need in November.

Trent Alexander Arnold

Liverpool’s right back has impressed for both club and country this season and despite only having one assist in the league this season, the 25-year-old remains a major threat. He has created 16 chances this season, the most of any other teammate whilst winning 30 of his defensive duals.
