Two pools in West Lancashire are set to remain open after unconfirmed reports indicate that councillors voted against the council’s reccommendation of closure.
West Lancashire Council initially recommended that Nye Bevan Pool and Park Pool should close, claiming that it would cost the authority more than one million pounds in the next year if they were to remain open.
