After winning the champions league final back in June, Klopp is now looking to sustain that success and its possible that Jadon Sancho might be the answer he’s looking for.
Liverpool were one of the more reserved teams throughout the summer transfer window, as they bought in youngsters Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott. Jürgen Klopp also acquired Andy Lonergan and goalkeeper Adrian on a free transfer, who has put on a set of remarkable performances since Alisson’s absence.
However, does this leave an opportunity to spend big in January?
The Reds have been strongly linked with Borussia Dortmund’s, Jadon Sancho. The 19-year-old has put the world on notice since his arrival in Germany in 2017. In his second season for the club, it was evident that his natural talent came to fruition.
The England international scored 12 goals and contributed 18 assists to Borussia Dortmund’s campaign last year, in fact, Sancho joined Mario Götze as the only teenager to score 10 or more Bundesliga goals in a single season for Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho hasn’t stopped there either. So far this season, in 7 appearances, he has had 3 goals and 5 assists.
The Dortmund player is also currently leading the assists table for the Bundesliga. Consequently, he won Dortmund’s BlackYellow player of the month for September.
