It will be the 2019 Grand Final rematch as St Helens entertain Salford Red Devils at the 2020 Magic Weekend.
Just three weeks ago, these two sides met on the biggest stage of all, as the Saints ran out 23-6 winners at Old Trafford, to claim their sixth Grand Final.
The Red Devils side set to face the Saints will look very different to the side which lined up in October, with the likes of Logan Tomkins, Jake Bibby, Josh Jones and Jackson Hastings all moving after playing a vital part in the club’s 2019 success.
However, it won’t just be a new look Salford side. New head coach Kristian Woolf will embark on his St Helens journey once he returns from guiding Tonga through their international duties and will take part in his first-ever Magic Weekend next year.

The event has been moved back to Newcastle after just one season away, as Anfield got to taste the thrill of the weekend for the very first time.
However, after supporters voted against going back to Merseyside for another season, the weekend will head back north, showing to be a fans’ favourite, which is largely due to its city centre location.
Saints ran out a comfortable 36-16 victory over the Darrell Powell’s Castleford Tigers back in May, with Justin Holbrook’s side eventually going on to lift both the league leaders’ shield and Grand Final.
The clash is set to take place at 5:15pm on Saturday, 23 May. While other matches include Castleford against Catalans, Hull FC entertaining Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield facing Super League new-boys Toronto, Wakefield against Hull KR, while Warrington are set to face rivals Wigan Warriors.
