A busy day in the UK and Ireland where five meetings take place, including the evening meeting at Newcastle. Also to note, some timings have been altered to accommodate TV broadcasts. This is just in the trial period.

We start at Huntingdon at 13:00 with a seven-race card that includes the current Supreme Novice favourite, Shishkin, racing in the Listed contest at 14:31.

Moving further south to Chelmsford for a 13:10 opener, where the standout name on the card is a one-time Stewards Cup winner in Lancelot Du Lac. This old-timer races in the sixth of seven races today.

Crossing the Irish Sea and to central Ireland. Thurles have a good card to show also, and a great looking 14:45 race, where any of the five could step up. Sempo is also interesting for Joseph O’Brien in the 15:20.

Some big fields and excellent competitive racing at Doncaster begins at 13:23. The real eye-catcher on the card is Glory And Fortune in the 15:30. A bumper winner at Cheltenham, taking a huge step down from his Haydock run earlier this season.
As mentioned, Newcastle’s all-weather surface is where we head for the evening meeting. Eight races here starting at 16:30. Heath Charnock looks the pick of the bunch stepping down into C4 company to try and get his nose in-front, interesting.

Today’s tips:

NAP: TEA CLIPPER 15:05 Huntingdon.
A late withdrawal when heading the market in a hot one at Wincanton, won by a very progressive type. Unbeaten so far under rules and points, up in trip and should be well suited.
NB: CALIDUS MIRABILIS 13:40 Chelmsford.
Joseph O’Brien sends one to Essex with every chance. Leading all-weather jockey Ben Curtis on-board for this three-year-old’s first taste in English soil.
EACH-WAY: SONNET ROSE 15:15 Chelmsford.
In the top three on 7/11 starts here. Often runs in higher calibre races. Definitely on the premises.
