Other nominations included Leeds striker Patrick Bamford, new Leicester signing Timothy Castagne and his teammate Jamie Vardy.
Spurs forward Harry Kane and Brighton youngster Tariq Lamptey were also named as nominees for the award.
However, Calvert-Lewin has been able to shrug off all these worthy candidates to round off what has been a truly glimmering month for the young English striker.
Despite receiving criticism in the past, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has morphed into the perfect successor to Romelu Lukaku.
The youngsters form started to find momentum under the tutorage of Duncan Ferguson during his short stint as caretaker manager.
The subsequent arrival of Carlo Ancelotti back in December, has only seen Calvert-Lewin flourish even further.
Calvert-Lewin has already started this month in fine form, scoring a brace in the 4-2 victory over Brighton.
It’s certainly a month that Everton’s gritty number nine will never forget as he hopes to replicate his excellent form in September.
Calvert-Lewin will be hoping to top his performances from September with a immense performance in the Merseyside Derby.
It is a fixture that Everton have gone decade without clinching a victory, the longest in the derbies history.
A tremendous month for the young striker with Evertonian’s hoping that he can continue his excellent form into October.
