Champions St.Helens Saints will face Salford Red Devils in the opening match of the Betfred Super League season which will be live on Sky Sports. The first game is scheduled to be played at 6pm on 26 March.
The last time the two played each other Red Devils won 12-10 but both teams’ form has changed as St. Helens won their remaining games against Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield, whilst Salford lost to Hull KR and Wigan Warriors.
Meanwhile, Warrington Wolves will face Castleford Tigers on 28th March as the final fixture of the weekend which kicks off at 2.45pm.
Tigers have lost two of their last three games against Hull FC and Leeds Rhinos, with their only win coming against Hull KR. Warrington however, have won two against Salford and Huddersfield Giants and lost to Hull FC.
All games will be played at Emerald Headingly Stadium.
