After the turbulent and expansive NBA 2019/20 COVID-19 Bubble season, fans and players alike can rejoice knowing that the NBA All-Star game will make a return with this years draft bolstering a plethora of immense talent and potential MVP candidates.
From the Western Conference, LeBron James makes his 17th-time NBA All-Star appearance and will once again be named as an All-Star captain after posting up typical LeBron numbers in the regular season with 25.5PPG, 7.8APG and 8.1RPG.
Starters from the Western Conference include the Golden State Warriors’ two time MVP Guard Stephen Curry, Dallas Mavericks Forward and 2019 Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic.
Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokic and two time finals MVP and two time defensive player of the year from the LA Clippers Kawhi Leonard.
Making up the reserves include seven-time all-star Paul George, two-time all star Rudy Gobert, six-time all-star Damian Lillard, two-time all-star Donovan Mitchell, 11-time all-star Chris Paul, Zion Williamson making his first ever all-star appearance and two-time all-star Devin Booker replacing the injured Anthony Davies.

Eastern Conference captain and two-time final MVP Kevin Durant is ruled out of the All-Star game with a hamstring injury that prevents the former MVP winner from participating in his 11th All-Star game.
Boston Celtics Guard Jayson Tatum will make his second All-Star appearance and will replace Durant in the starting line-up. Other names include reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, NBAs leading scorer Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards.
Philadelphia 76ers Center Joel Embiid and Brooklyn Nets Guard Kyrie Irving rounding off an impressive set of future NBA hall of famers.
Some surprising names make up the Eastern All-Star reserves that include the New York Knicks’ Forward Julius Randle making his first ever All-Star appearance after a tremendous regular season run with the Knicks who are currently sat in a play-off seed.

Other names include Celtics Guard Jaylen Brown, Nets Guard and former MVP James Harden, Chicago Bulls Guard Zach LaVine, 76ers Forward Ben Simmons, Orlando Magic Center Nikola Vucevic and Indiana Pacers Forward Domantas Sabonis filling out the final reserve with Tatum’s promotion to the starting line-up.
