Liverpool Handball Club face off against rivals NEM Hawks this weekend in the England Handball National Women’s Cup.
The game will determine who will go to the Handball Cup Quarter Finals for the 2022/2023 season.
The Hawks are current title holders having won the England Handball Premier league last season.
League toppers NEM Hawks are undefeated this season, with seven games played and only one game ending in a draw.
Despite the Liverpool ladies being only one point from rivals Hawks in the Premier League, they are currently the only team that has defeated LHC this season.
LHC player, Julie Hansen said: “We look better, we are more confident, and we are going to win this time around.
“They ran us down in the first half of the previous game, and they are very quick as a team.
“We know what to expect and have worked hard in training specifically for this game.”
