Liverpool Varsity continues today (March 13) as Liverpool John Moores University take on University of Liverpool in handball.
LJMU’s men’s and women’s teams have both enjoyed success recently.
The women’s team won their BUCS National Trophy League undefeated, and the men’s team finished third in their BUCS National Trophy League.
The men’s team also won Chester’s Northern Development League in January this year.

The matches will take place at LJMU Sports Centre today, with the women’s game starting at 5pm and the men’s game starting at 6:15pm.
