Liverpool
Matt Beard’s side ran out 4-3 losers against Manchester City last time out, but three points against the Red Devils tonight could give them a boost and put some pressure on the in-form Manchester sides.
Liverpool’s poor away from means they will be thankful they are the hosts this evening, but with only one win in their last five, they’ll know they will have to work hard for a result.
The home side will be encouraged by the return of their skipper Niamh Fahey who is set to make her first appearance of the 2023-2024 campaign after some time out with a calf injury sustained in pre-season.

Forward Leanne Kiernan made a short cameo in their WSL defeat to Chelsea last weekend as she looks to return to full fitness.
Beard said she was a “couple of weeks away,” from WSL action not so long ago, supporters will be hopeful their number nine can inject some attacking prowess back into their side.
Liverpool host Brighton & Hove Albion at Prenton Park in their next fixture on Sunday November 26.
Manchester United
Manchester United hope to continue their rich vein of form in Merseyside, as they’ve found themselves on the right side of the scoresheet on their previous two visits up the M62.
Goals do not seem to be an issue for Marc Skinner’s women, scoring 20 in their last five games.
United have put 12 past Everton within a month racking up seven in their first Group B fixture and another win tonight would lift them above City.
Nikita Parris will be hoping to continue her form as she bagged herself a hat-trick last time out in this competition and try to prove a point to England boss Sarina Wiegman, who has left her out of her latest Lionesses squad despite her prolific goalscoring form.
United return to WSL action away at Bristol City in their next match on Sunday November 26.
