The organiser of a combat sport event promises an insane atmosphere when it comes to Liverpool next month.
GrappleFest take places at Fusion in Liverpool on the 9th March.
The event works differently to MMA. It is a submission-based event where if you fail to submit your opponent it goes to a judge’s decision. Judges score a match on submission attempts made and control time.
One of those will be competing is Liverpool’s Connor Harris.
Harris, who trains at Next Generation MMA, said that is it his dream to compete at the event.
He said:” Its really cool, all the spectators are right next to the mat, the atmosphere is insane, you wouldn’t think it is but its really good.”
