A former St Helens Rugby League academy player says he is excited about signing for a new club.
David Hewitt will play for League One side Midlands Hurricanes next season after signing from Oldham.
Having began his career at Saints, his boyhood club, the 28-year-old says his old club can fight back in 2023 after they lost the Super League title they held from 2019 to 2022.
He also outlined the challenge of travelling to the Midlands from the North West to train for a club aiming to build strong foundations.
