Gil Dudson has joined Salford Red Devils on season long loan from the Warrington Wolves.
The 33-year-old prop is returning to his former stopping grounds where he had two successful seasons between 2019 and 2020.
Gil Dudson has only made one appearance for Sam Burgess’ new look Wolves side this season in their defeat to the Catalan Dragons.
Salford boss Paul Rowley spoke glowingly about Dudson in an announcement on the club’s website.
He said: “He’s a very intelligent footballer and gives us much needed reinforcements to our middle unit.”
“Having worked closely with Gil before… I know he is the type of character that will fit into, and compliment our environment.”
Dudson will add additional size to a pack already consisting of Brad Singleton and Jack Ormondroyd.
