Following the death of his son four years ago, Johnny Santer has partnered with Liverpool City Council and LJMU to develop plans for an Olympic standard skate park in the city.

Gabriel Santer was 15 when he was skateboarding and fell from a multi-storey car park in Liverpool city centre.

A charity auction was held at Liverpool John Moores University, organised by Johnny’s friend and LJMU lecturer, Mike O’Shaugnessy to raise awareness of the skatepark project. Around £3500 was raised and will be donated to a number of charities >>>
