The Boxwell Programme, based in Liverpool, is about to celebrate five years of helping local people manage mental health difficulties through boxing.
The free sessions now run three times a week each for men and women, providing a sense of community for people in the area who are struggling.
Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury announced his retirement earlier this week, after speaking out about his mental health struggles several times throughout his career. His brother Tommy also revealed this week that he has struggled with alcohol issues.
Michelle Roach, founder and director of the programme, says that professional boxers opening up about mental health issues can help people feel like they are not alone.
