The golf course can start to feel a little bit quieter during the winter season. However, this is when greenkeepers really earn their money.
The life of a greenkeeper is rarely anything but busy, there is usually always work going on somewhere- renovations, new projects and course alterations. The days also get shorter putting even more pressure upon the greenkeepers.

Sean has only been at Ellesmere Port since September 2024 and opened up about the difficulties they face during winter and aiming to have the golf course open all year round.
