Reigning Premier League Champion Luke Littler will want to get back to winning ways after a 6-5 defeat against Michael Van Gerwen in Belfast last week.

This saw him lose with an incredible 113.91 average.

Littler, from Warrington, faces Rob Cross which will be a tough challenge after Cross won his first ranking title of the year in Players Championship 1 on Monday.

Liverpool’s Stephen Bunting is also involved in a headline clash against Michael Van Gerwen in Glasgow on Thursday night.

The 2024 Masters winner started his return to the Premier League with a 6-4 loss against Rob Cross in the quarter finals last week in Belfast.

In the other half of the draw, Nathan Aspinall faces Welshman Gerwyn Price, they both lost their opening games in Belfast.

World Number 1 Luke Humphries will look to continue his fine form after his Night 1 win.

He plays Chris Dobey in a rematch of last week’s final which ended 6-1.

The draw for Night 2 allows for a potential Humphries and Littler final, which is the biggest rivalry in darts currently.

Humphries spoke to onlinedarts.com about Littler after his win in Belfast last week.

He said: “I don’t want to make it much about him because it’s my night, but Luke (Littler) is the best player in the world.

“I’m looking forward to playing him in many games this year, and I’m going to have to be at my upmost best.’’
