Everton travel to Brentford on Wednesday looking for their seventh unbeaten game in a row in the Premier League.
They drew 2-2 last time out against a struggling Manchester United side with goals coming from Beto and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The Toffees were denied a chance to win it in injury time with a late penalty when VAR stepped in to overturn the decision after a shirt pull on Ashley Young.
Moyes commented on the decision: “I thought it was a penalty kick, I was a little bit surprised he went to VAR.
“Obviously, we’ve been in touch to check it out, we’ve spoke with the PGMOL. It’s passed now, we can’t do any more about it.”
Everton expect to have both Jesper Lindstrom and Tim Iroegbunam available against Brentford after concerns of illness this week.
Nathan Patterson is also back in training after a hamstring injury but will likely miss out.

Moyes praised the work of Brentford Head Coach Thomas Frank.
“Isn’t Thomas (Frank) doing an unbelievable job at Brentford.
“I wouldn’t just say it was this year. I think he’s done that for 3,4,5 years. They run a really good club.”
However, Moyes made it clear that Everton should have bigger aspirations than Brentford.
“I’d like us to be challenging up near the top end of the league rather than near the bottom.
“Here at Everton, we need to try and find a way to get back into the big time.”
