PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has predicted a “tough” game for his side ahead of their away leg against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Kvaratskhelia joined PSG in the January transfer window from Serie A team Napoli, after initial rumours he would sign for Liverpool.

Tomorrow is the second leg of their Round of 16 clash with the Reds having won the first leg with a score of 1-0.

Kvaratskhelia said: “It will be a tough game.

“Our goal is to dominate the game like we did in Paris, and to play a game of the same quality like we did in Paris, because I think to dominate against Liverpool is not easy and we know here (at Anfield) it will be more difficult.”

On his team’s performance last week, he said: “We created many chances and we didn’t score when we had many great opportunities to score.

“I think it will be important to just be ready for every moment and every chance to score.”

Kvaratskhelia, who normally plays as a left winger, started on the right against Liverpool in Paris last week.

“I think when you play at PSG it doesn’t matter which position you are, I think wherever the team needs me I will play, I will do my best wherever.

“I don’t really care because the most important thing is that I’m playing football and I’m enjoying it, so I will try to do everything for my team.”

While PSG dominated the game last time around, Kvaratskhelia is now expecting a stronger Liverpool side.

“I think tomorrow Liverpool are going to be more confident because they are playing at home with fans so it will be a tougher game than it was in Paris.

“I think it will be a different game but we will try to play our game and the most important thing is the result.”

Kick-off for Liverpool vs PSG will be at 20:00 at Anfield.
