Tranmere Rovers defender Jordan Turnbull has revealed that the club have not yet opened contract talks with players due for renewal.
A number of first team players are a few months away from having their contracts expiring at Tranmere, including key defender Turnbull.
Turnbull stated: “No, at the end of the day we just got ourselves over the line a few days ago.
“Those conversations will obviously happen after this week, but the main focus today was training.”
In their last outing at home to Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere were able to ensure their safety in the football league for at least another season, with Tom Davies and Kristian Dennis providing the decisive goals in the 2-0 victory.

Ahead of the final game of the League Two season, Tranmere visit Rodney Parade with aims of bettering the Welsh side once more.
The previous three fixtures between Newport County and Tranmere Rovers have seen the Birkenhead-based side come out as victors.

If other league fixtures go their way, Tranmere may be propelled into 19th in the table, with Saturday’s game a direct opportunity to go ahead of opponents Newport.
Before the clubs last met back in November, Turnbull stated: “Definitely [whether the side are better than a 19th placed finish in League Two], I think that everyone, fans included, players, staff had real optimism at the start of the season with the squad we’ve built.
“You look at the start of the season as well, the first few games, we started really brightly, started really well and picked up some good points.”
Last time the clubs faced each other, Tranmere came up victorious, beating the Welsh side 2-1, courtesy of goals from Kieron Morris and Connor Jennings.
The ‘Superwhites’ will be hoping to continue their run of form to try record a higher placed finish to their season, but with the victory last Saturday securing safety from relegation, the main aim has been achieved.
Despite this Turnbull has stated manager Andy Crosby is not allowing complacency to creep in and the side have been training as hard as ever for the final game of the season.
“The managers made it very clear that it’s not us going out there to have a jolly up, this is to go out there and win the game and improve our record.
“We’ve got one more challenge to come up, there’s no letting off the gas.”
