The Merseyside and Cheshire region secured three national titles at the annual youth boxing championships in Solihull.
Louis Szeto, Thomas Flynn and Tyler McIntyre were all victorious in Sunday’s youth cadet finals to mark a successful tournament for the region.
McIntyre, who trains out of St Helen’s JC Boxing Academy, outpointed Eishay Parmar via unanimous decision to reach the under-46kg final.
And a unanimous decision win over Kashim Ashiq on Sunday secured a third national title for McIntyre.
Szeto advanced to the semi-finals on Friday by walkover after opponent Jafar Nouali was unable to compete.
A unanimous decision victory in the semis sent Szeto through to the final where he outpointed Malachi McHale by split-decision in the under-51kg category.
The win secured a second national title for the Everton Red Triangle man.

Knowsley’s Flynn also won in the quarters by walkover before beating Johnny Butcher by split-decision in the semi-finals.
Flynn stopped Divine Omojor in the final to bring home a third national title for the region.
Harry Hall also progressed to the under-48kg final only to lose to Billy Macey via stoppage.
The Salisbury ABC man beat Alfie Thomas and Imran Choudry earlier in the week to reach Sunday’s final.
The tournament concluded a successful weekend for Merseyside boxing after Olivia Holmes secured gold in the Bocskai finals on Saturday.
