Caldy winger Louis Cowan believes the game against London Scottish has come at the perfect time.
The Wirral-based side are looking to end a three game losing streak in their penultimate home game of the season. And yet bottom placed London Scottish’s only win this season came in the reverse fixture at the Athletic Ground in Richmond.

Cowan said: “It was tight earlier in the season and we are hoping to do one better.
“We are hoping to get a bonus point win. We are expecting the biggest crowd we have had this season. We will get a big packed out bank behind the lads. Hopefully we can put a few things right that haven’t gone our way over the past couple of weeks. Our form in January was incredible but since then we have been dwindling a little bit. We want to secure our place in this wonderful league for next season.”
In their debut season in the Championship, Caldy have had their ups and downs. From a last second victory against first placed Ealing Trailfinders to a miserable 71-14 defeat at Jersey Reds, Caldy’s aim will be end the season with more positives.
