Tottenham have appointed José Mourinho as new their new manager, following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino.
Mourinho signed a contract that we will see him head coach until the end of the 2023 season.
The 56-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United in December 2018.
“I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters,” he told Sky Sports.
“The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me.”
Pochettino guided Tottenham to the Champions League final last season, but was relieved of his duties last night after Spurs picked up just three wins in 12 games in the Premier League this term.
Former Real Madrid boss Mourinho won the FA Cup and Europa League with United, as well as three Premier League titles across two spells with Chelsea.
The Portuguese first game in charge of Tottenham will be an away fixture at West Ham on Saturday.
