Pep Guardiola and Raheem Sterling to stay at Manchester City amid UEFA ban.
News has emerged this morning that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has pledged his loyalty to the club. Raheem Sterling has also allegedly vowed to stay. This has come off the back of Friday’s news that the club has been banned from all European competitions until 2022/2023 season, due to breaking financial fair play rules.
Pep has told his players that “Look whatever league we are in I will still be here.”
The previous news has sparked speculation that numerous players and the manager could be on the move in the hunt for European success.
This morning’s news is sure to be music to the ears of the Manchester City fans who have feared the worst over the past few days.
Despite this hopeful news for the fans, the clubs future is still most definitely uncertain. Manchester City’s team of lawyers are planning to fight the case in the courts.
