With no tips yesterday following Toby’s nap winning at Wetherby on Monday, the tips are with myself today.
Fontwell was abandoned yesterday ahead of today’s racing, leaving three meetings in the UK. Catterick takes up the sole jumps meeting with Lingfield and Kempton hosting the day’s flat racing.
Over in Ireland, the jumps at Clonmel represents the only meeting.
Here are my tips for today…
Nap – Fresh New Dawn 16:20 Catterick
Olyy Murphy’s charge runs off the same mark when finishing third at Market Rasen last month. Murphy will have been happy with how his horse ran in its first run since summer and with Dickie Johnson on board improvement is expected.
Next Best- Niven 15:50 Catterick
After a poor run last time out compared to previous winter form, Phillip Kirby’s horse can take victory here following a drop in grade.
Each way- Abor Viate 15:35 Clonmel
Led most of the way at Fairyhouse when finishing second over 2m4f on heavy ground before falling last time out. Has the ability to bounce back over a shorter trip on the same ground as the fairyhouse run.
