The first Monday after the Cheltenham Festival is an action packed one, with six races apiece at Hereford, Kelso and Southwell.

Anyway, on to Today’s Racing.
Little Rory Mac stars in Kelso’s first at 14:10. Moving yards since his last run, from Henry Oliver over to Dr Richard Newland, He hit the headlines back in December for so interesting market moves after Tweets from one of his owners.
In Hereford’s opener, Gloucestershire trainer Kim Bailey looks to have another nice horse, owned by The Imperial Racing partnership – Imperial Icon. David Bass rode Imperial Aura to win the Northern Trust Novices’ Handicap chase at the Cheltenham festival just under a week ago for the partnership. Beaten 14 lengths in his only start, look for some improvement n the five-year-old, for the in-form trainer.
Heavy ground can be expected from Southwell where there is National Hunt action today rather than Flat racing. Also, a winning trainer at the Festival, Harry Whittington only staddles one horse today – Shantou Vow in the 15.30, Daryl Jacob takes the ride.

A nice form line behind Main Fact of David Pipe’s who has proven to be prolific in handicaps. Beaten last time when giving a stone to winner. He has plenty of experience and looks to be the one to beat in this contest.
Next Best – Skyhill, 15:10 @ Kelso
Denied the fiver-timer last time out. Has good form over long distances, should get the 3m2f trip. Switch back to hurdles from fences meaning he is well handicapped, likely to be favourite.
Each Way – No Quarter Asked, 14:20 @ Hereford
Got to take on the short-priced favourite here. First start over obstacles for this one. Won a bumper at Perth before moving to Peter Bowen’s stable. Was 4th behind Champion bumper runner Adrimel at Uttoxeter back in December, hopefully open to improvement.
