Neal Skupski and Jamie Murray have been eliminated in the semi-finals of the Shanghai Rolex Masters this past weekend.
The all-British pair lost 7-5, 6-4 to the eighth seeds Bruno Soares and Mate Pavic, as they failed to reach their first final together.
The pair enjoyed success in the tournament by beating Novak Djokovic’s team on the way to the semi-finals.
The two players joined forces this summer, but had a good Asian swing, reaching the semi-finals at the China Open and this past week at the Shanghai Rolex Masters to start up what could be a successful combination going forward.
The pair are now preparing for the final tournaments of season.
They will be playing at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow against Roman Jebavy (CZE) and Igor Zelenay (SVK) tomorrow.
The time is still to be announced.
