After another winning Nap on Friday from Tom at Ffos Las, the tips are back around to me again. Kicking the week off with four meetings.
Three of the meetings are jumps, with just the one flat taking place. The jumps are being held at Ludlow, Musselbrugh, and Kempton. The sole flat meeting is being hosted by Chelmsford City
The days racing gets underway with the first of the jumps setting off at 12:35 at Ludlow. This is very closely followed by Musselbrugh which starts just 10 minutes after at 12:45. The last of the jumps action gets underway at 12:55 at Kempton and finally Chelmsford City concludes the days racing, starting at 15:25
Here are todays tips…
Nap – Doctor Dex, Kempton, 14:35
Looked fantastic on chase debut at ascot last month winning by two and a half lengths. A horse that previously showed good hurdles form and has taken to fences so far. Despite an 8lbs rise in weights another bold bid is expected with Jonathan Burke on a horse proven over trip.
Next Best- The Newest One, Ludlow, 12:35
Ran extremely well on debut at Cheltenham, finishing fourth in testing conditions. The half-brother to the new one, who’s peak rating over hurdles came in at 167, will be hoping to follow up the impressive bumper performance with a victory. Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies is on board for father Nigel.
Each Way – I’m too Generous, 13:55, Mussleburgh
Winning on two out of the last three occasions, Rebecca Menzies horse will be hoping to once again be in the winner’s circle after finishing third last time out. Previous victory over track and trip in a handicap hurdle holds this horse in good stead. Nathan Moscrop also has a 3lbs claim for the ride.
