Allerton’s Chris Fishgold is out of next weekend’s UFC card in Washington D.C.
The Next Generation MMA fighter was scheduled to fight Billy Quarantillo at the event, but has been forced to pull out for unknown reasons.
In an Instagram story, he told his fans of the news but said “fingers crossed I’ll be back fighting soon.”
Chris Fishgold is currently 1-2 in the UFC since his move from Cage Warriors and the fight in the US capital was set to be his third fight this year.
His fourth UFC appearance will now have to wait, with the UFC London card set for March next year a possible solution.
The withdrawal comes just two weeks on from teammate Paddy Pimblett’s fight falling out a day before Cage Warriors 111.
His scheduled opponent Billy Quarantillo will now face promotional debutant Jacob Kilburn on the preliminary card.
