Racing tips are back today for MerseySportLive. Sheldon’s NAP was a winner on Monday, and hopefully today I can deliver more winning tips for you.
All of today’s racing comes from the mainland, with three meetings across England. The jumps racing comes from Haydock, with a mix of hurdle races and chases over fences. The flat racing taking place at Kempton and Lingfield.
Ludlow meetings have unfortunately been abandoned, so I will be sticking to Haydoc Park for my tips today.

My picks:
NAP – Champagne Mystery – 13.55 Haydock
Nico de Boinville on the saddle for this Nicky Henderson horse today. Won on season debut at Aintree a few weeks ago in his first chase in what was a comfortable 11l win over Adam Wedge and Present Value. Today should pose a tougher test for this horse, with Dashel Drasher the highest rated horse in the race, but should go well. Soft ground poses no issue for him.
NB – Marie’s Rock – 14.25 Haydock
Debut today over hurdles. Won her last NH flat race in May, beating Balladame by almost 3l. Despite this being her debut over hurdles, trainer Nicky Henderson says she is a great jumper. Again, the trusted Nico de Boinville is the man on the saddle, who will no doubt give this horse a great ride.
Each-way – Arctic Road – 12.50 Haydock
Back over hurdles today for this Oliver Greenall trained horse. Came sixth in his last race in a chase. Pulled up on last hurdle race, but before this won two Class 4 hurdle races, running and jumping beautifully. 16/1 this morning which is great value, I expect him to run well today.
