Some good news for Liverpool cricket fans: @lancscricket will return to Aigburth this season with a 2nd XI fixture vs Middlesex, starting on Monday, June 24. It follows "positive talks" with a view to playing a first team fixture at the venue in 2025… pic.twitter.com/A1pANGyHLs

This will be the first time in five years that the Second XI have played at LCC, the last result a draw against Yorkshire in 2019.
This fixture has been scheduled with the hopes of having the first team fulfil a fixture at the Merseyside venue in 2025.
The last time Lancashire cricket visited Liverpool the first team beat Hampshire in 2021, by one wicket.
