Work at Bramley- Moore dock is underway at full steam, with Everton’s new stadium set to be finished at the end of the year.
Located in the East corner of the South Stand, work was started at the fan centre, with the new facility undergoing a preliminary fit out.
The fan plaza will see blue glass ‘Kellen’ blocks that create a shimmering water effect.
Pine, alder and dawn redwood trees have been planted at the fan plaza, which have been nurtured at a Cheshire nursery.
The tree positioning and growth has been taken into consideration, providing fans from shade in the summer and wind from the coastal winds.
The move to the 52,888-capacity stadium is due to take place before the start of the 2025/2026 season.
Chief executive and chief stadium development officer Colin Chong said the decision to move at the start of a new season was because of several factors.
‘Fan feedback sourced as part of our recent stadium migration survey, which was completed by almost 10,000 Evertonians’ said Chong.
