Liverpool’s Connor Hughes has been announced as a member of the PFL Europe roster.
He will compete in an eight-man lightweight tournament with the winner earning $100,000.
The inaugural PFL Europe season will feature 32 fighters across four different weight divisions.
The season begins on March 25 in Newcastle and culminates in the play-offs in Dublin on December 8.
Hughes will make his debut on the Berlin card on July 8 against an opponent yet to be named.
Not only will the winner of each tournament secure a big money prize but they will also be offered the chance to showcase their talents on the main PFL roster.
As part of the global roster, the fighters will then be eligible to compete for $1 million, which is awarded to the winner of each individual season.

Hughes holds an impress 6-0 professional record with four wins coming by submission and the other two by stoppage.
He trains at the MMA Academy and comes from a background in karate and kickboxing.
The lightweight will be looking to build on his 100% finish rate ahead of his first fight in Germany.
Despite not yet having the overall star power of the UFC, the PFL continues to grow in reputation and popularity.
Hughes isn’t the only British fighter to have been announced for PFL Europe.
He is joined by compatriots, Simeon Powell, (light heavyweight) Dominique Wooding, (bantamweight) and Dakota Ditcheva (women’s flyweight).
These mixed martial artists will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Manchester’s Brendan Loughnane.
Loughnane won the 2022 PFL Featherweight tournament by knocking out Bubba Jenkins to pocket $1 million.
Paddy Pimblett may be the poster boy for MMA in Liverpool, but Connor Hughes is certainly one to keep an eye on in 2023.
