After yet another winner from MerseySportLive’s hottest tipster, Toby Corkin, the tips are back over to me today. After a couple of unsuccessful days tipping, as well as some extremely bad luck, I think I’m due a winner.
There are three jumps meetings taking place in the UK and Ireland today, at Fairyhouse, Lingfield and Fakenham. The two flat meetings are being held at Chelmsford City and Kempton. Lingfield kicks off the days racing at 12:30, with Chelmsford hosting the last race at 19:45.
Here are my tips for today…
Nap- Troubled Soul 14:00 Lingfield
A horse that is proven at the trip and runs well on heavy ground as. With the last couple of runs being below par on faster ground, the in-form stable of Fergal O’Brien will be hoping for a big run in today’s race. A runner up in a class 2 handicap at Haydock back in April makes this horse the standout.
NB- Lily The Pink 15:30 Lingfield
A previous point to point winner who acts on heavy ground, this is just the second start over hurdles for the mare. A good run last time out at Fontwell finishing fourth would have been a valuable experience and Aidan Coleman will be looking for improvement after a short break.
Each way- Theophilus 15:05 Fairyhouse
Sean Flanagan is on board for a horse that usually hurdles well. A previous winner on heavy ground and proven to stay the trip. After recent poor performances, a place last time out at the same track and over the same trip was a sign of improvement and Flanagan will be hoping to be in the winners enclosure.
