Non-League Day returns this Saturday to encourage fans to attend their local non-league club during the international break.

The event is a showcase of the unique experience that non-league football has to offer.

Many clubs offer tickets at affordable prices as well as other incentives to attend, making the event even more enticing.

Merseysportlive looks at some of the matches available to attend across Merseyside this Saturday.

Marine vs Peterborough Sports

Marine take on Peterborough sports at Rossett Park on Saturday as the Mariners look to continue their run of fine form.

Neil Young’s men are unbeaten in six games and sit joint top of the form table with promotion chasing Kidderminster.

Their run of form has edged Marine closer to safety, and a win could see Young’s side all but secure another season in the National League North.

Peterborough Sports are still in contention for the play-offs and are in fine form themselves, losing only one of the last six.

Marine are offering discounted tickets for Premier League season ticket holders, with £10 adult tickets and £6 concessions (over 65, student 18-21, youth 16-17), free (u16)

Southport vs Scarborough Athletic

Southport will host Scarborough Athletic as the home side adjust to life after Jim Bentley.

The Port parted ways with Bentley after their 1-0 loss to local rivals Marine.

The club are yet to appoint a new manager and players will be looking to impress the next man in the dugout.

Southport have lost the last two matches at The Big Help Stadium and look to return to winning ways in front of an increased attendance.

A win for Scarborough will almost confirm their safety and could give them an outside chance of entering the playoffs come the end of the season.

The home side are offering a number of incentives to get fans down to the stadium this Non-League Day.

This includes live musical entertainment, a half-time mascot penalty shoot out, and a happy hour between 1-2pm offering discounted drinks.

A £25 family ticket is also available, which includes 2 adults and 2 juniors.

City of Liverpool F.C. vs Hednesford Town

City of Liverpool F.C. take on Hednesford Town at The Berry Street Garage Stadium on Saturday, a ground they share with Bootle FC.

The home side are already relegated after a poor season and currently sit on 15 points.
